Calientes refresh and townies refresh in general
I'm making this post to share my feedback on this matter - the refresh just ain't it.
Entire point and goal of these supposed refreshes was to update the looks that weren't done right in comparision to older games (fixing skintones) but also to respect and add the lore of these old characters and make them feel more as their own Sims like it used to be in older games. But Goths and Calientes refreshes just didn't do this.
Goths refresh fixed visuals, that is welcomed. But it misses the lore and personal sims update. Calientes though? This one was really not needed considering what we got. Caliente sisters, while with better face features that represent their ethnicity, are still really white compared to older games. Their mother still doesn't exist, Kathrina should've been changed to Nighat. The fact that this refresh wasn't used for this is outstanding. Not to mention relationships between Calientes women and Don are still not what they are supposed to be.
If there are more refreshes in plan, PLEASE The Sims Team, focus on all aspects and really respect old games. That's the reason why this was wanted in a first place
