Camera height Sims 4
I'm surprised I can't find anything about this anywhere. I've seen in Sims 4 videos people raise and lower the camera height (I'm not referring to the angle of *tilt*), yet I have no controls to do ...
You hit Q and E on the keyboard. Just figured it out myself.
Is there a way to do this when in build mode? Tab mode is all very well but I have to come out of it to grab build tools.
@IngeJones Try switching to the Sims 3 camera (click the camera icon in the upper right corner of the screen), then holding down the middle mouse button and moving the mouse up and down.
I am already in Sims 3 camera. You're actually referring to something different which is the angle of tilt. I can change that by about 80degrees from horizontal to nearly top-down. What I am actually talking about is changing height, as if the person holding the camera was getting taller or shorter. Ie vertical panning. We can do that with Q and E in tab view, but not with anything at all once the UI is visible.
@IngeJones Yeah, I get that, and it would be convenient if there were a way to use the Q and E buttons outside of Tab mode. (I tried all the key combinations I coulld think of and got nowhere.) I'm just saying you can accomplish a lot with the middle mouse button even without Tab mode.
