Can’t not create parents for young adult sim

I did some things wrong with trying to create a family for my young adult sim (mom dad brother and sister) i lost the family when i tried to split from house hold so my young adult can continue living alone. Then i went to delete the family relationships then deleted the family from my library. Now she just has a brother and sister who i have also lost in the worlds. When i tried to create a new mom and dad in cas , the mother and father option doesn’t show. Just partner spouse brother or sister show as option. I checked the family tree and the siblings have no parents. Please help. Thank you

    When you create parents for existing sims in CAS, you have to make them older than the sim you are creating them for.  So, if your sim is a Young Adult, the parents will have to be either an Adult or Elder to get the father/mother choices.  The parents can't be Young Adults.  As for the brother and sister, it is easiest to reset the relationships if they are all in one household.  You will have to use the CAS.fulleditmode cheat to do that though.  

    If you are a mod user and have MCCC, you can use the relationships module to reset all the relationships as well, without having to go to CAS.  It's a bit tricky but I have used it successfully to restore the family relationships for sims that I transfer from one save to a new one.
