Can I buy the Sims 4 with a google play card?

My child just bought a google play card worth $50 and surprisingly, I can't buy the Sims 4 with it. Can someone help and give me some advise cause this card. And also, do I have to buy the Sims gift ...

    It's great that you want to get into The Sims 4. It's a ton of fun. As the Origin is not part of the Google Play app store, Google Play cards cannot be used to purchase The Sims 4 for PC.

It's great that you want to get into The Sims 4. It's a ton of fun. As the Origin is not part of the Google Play app store, Google Play cards cannot be used to purchase The Sims 4 for PC.
