Hi, currently I'm downloading the Sims 4 Vampires.
When I want to continue with my game it tells me that playing while downloading can have negative effects, I just want to resume to my game untill the download is ready.
Is it okay if I just start my game untill the download is finished?
Just curious, because I don't wanna mess with anything xd.

It shouldn't be a problem. However, think that because you're installing some content it may cause some sync problems and some of your progress may not save properly. If I were you I would wait until the download is complete. Come on, we all love sims but the download is not that long! 😉
@Ingridimus, in addition to what @Beckem87 stated, if you do play while downloading, when downloading is finished you will have to exit your game and restart it anyway in order for the newly downloaded materials to show up in your game. 🤨 I usually just play solitaire, or browse the internet or read a book while I'm downloading. 😉
Haha, I know the download was not that long.
But since I had some issues with the internet it only downloaded wit 70 kb/s haha.
Anyway, I've been patient and played something else, so now my guilty pleasure can start xD

Tbh yeah one game pack ain't that long. But my sisters game needed to update and she has almost all packs available.. it takes up to 3 hours at the least to get it all downloaded and installed.. I'm lucky I have a few less game packs and such, but it still takes over a hour for me. Any idea why it's so darn long?
