Can I play Sims while an expansion is downloading?

Hi, currently I'm downloading the Sims 4 Vampires.  When I want to continue with my game it tells me that playing while downloading can have negative effects, I just want to resume to my game untill...

Hi @Ingridimus 

It shouldn't be a problem. However, think that because you're installing some content it may cause some sync problems and some of your progress may not save properly. If I were you I would wait until the download is complete. Come on, we all love sims but the download is not that long! 😉

@Beckem87 It is when you have satellite. ! LOL took me three nights to download The Sims 4. And I'm not exaggerating. But I was wanting to know because I have stranger bill now that I'm downloading and I was wondering the same thing if I could play Sims 4 while Stranger Ville is downloading.. :-)
