Fully exit out of the game and Origin. - If exiting Origin isn't working, open Task manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) search for a file called ts4.exe. Click on it and select end process.
Restart the computer and try again to see if Origin automatically starts downloading any free and/or owned content.
If not, try downloading the content manually -
Click the More tab (it's a little under the Play button) Select either Expansions Packs, Game Packs or Stuff Packs, and if any of them are showing as uninstalled, click the Install button.

I have tried opening and closing Origin. And Restarting my computer. . Will not download. Sims 4 says origins is downloading pack but Origin will not download it. Just says its available to download still but when I click on Arrow or go in "more" like you suggested it still will not download. Seems like it is issue with Origin.
- 7 years agoI was wondering about that. You might try uninstalling/reinstalling Origin.

You don't loose any Sims 4 files, as they are installed in different folders. If you are concerned about this copy the Sims 4 folder to a USB key.
I've had issues with Origin in the past, and when it doesn't like downloading Game Content or updates. I uninstall/reinstall that seems to help. It's like resetting Origin.
