Cannot join sim for work as a Grimtern as a spellcaster in Life and Death

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to work as a grimtern while being a spellcaster.
What happens when the bug occurs? No prompt to follow or join sim ever comes up.
What do you expect to see? Sim goes to work but no option to join comes up.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I installed Life and Death most excited to be a grimtern, except I can't even go to the job on a spellcaster. My spellcaster sim does not automatically start the interaction to go to work or even get notifications that work is starting soon. I have to click "go to work" and even though I have the join/follow prompt turned on, I never get a prompt to follow my sim to work. I have removed and turned off all mods, I have repaired the game, I have cleared the cache. Nothing has fixed it. I then made a regular sim to see if it worked, and it does.The prompt to join the sim only comes up on a regular, non-occult sim. I have not tested if this problem affects other occults, but I'm sure it does.
