Cannot travel to Willow Creek Library

This is happening to me also, since EA did an update / for the blast from the past week 2 task. I have my sim travel to the willow creek library or museum, and once they get there the screen freezes with sounds still happening as if the game is running behind the frozen screen still. The first time I tried to travel to the Willow Creek Library, the blue loading screen stayed frozen over the top with the sounds happening in the background too. I have not been able to travel here for any of my save games without it freezing.

Do you remember if it was fine before the event ? Also what platform are you playing on ?

Travelling to these places was fine before the event. To be honest my game has never frozen like this ever (that I can remember!) I am playing on my Macbook Pro. I was able to finish the quest by going to a library in Strangerville, but Willow Creek was still freezing whenever I tried it.

Please let me know if anyone is not on Mac or doesn't have the processor involved.

I am having this issue too! I just downloaded the sims a few days ago and I got a few packs (get to work, cats and dogs, seasons, comfy gamer kit, and the art kit) so i don't really have many options on where to travel for the museum part of blast to the past. I keep having to force quit my game because it just freezes!

diamondhuskey05 Are you on a mac too ?

I'm having the same issue, I think it might be a bug. I can go to Windenburg's library just fine.

Editing that I'm also on mac and having trouble loading into some households too in all save files- it might be specific lots? The lots I've noticed so far are Willow Creek Library, Domus Familiaris in Brindleton Bay and Riverside Roost in Willow Creek, but that's because those are my two save game family houses and I need to go to the library for the event. This started when Week 2 of the event released.

I'm going to close this thread as this seems to be a mac specific issue.
