The Gallery

Okay I have had major issues with the gallery lately, to the point this time my screen was in build mode with that blue tint you get when opening something like the gallery over the whole screen. I waited for half an hour and nothing worked, so I had to close the program, and I hadn’t saved any of my progress on a large build that I was working on for 2 hours. Anyone know how to fix this without having to lose progress?
