I've tried traveling with different sims, but each time I enter the "snowy escape" world I don't have the option to go the slopes or to the area where you meet the mountain's mascot.
All I have are some residential lots, 2 parks, a bar, an onsen and a snowy lot.
i see videos of people with amazing skiing, snowboarding, sledding or hikes, but I can't find them.
i purchased my sim skiing/snowboarding equipment and put them in my inventory.

i tried to go to the onsen and then go to the slopes from there, but could only go on the mount climbing excursion.
Could you please explain how to get to the slopes from there?
Travel to the Onsen or a rental lot. From there if you want to go to the slopes on the mountain top, click on the cable car station and then select the option to reach the top (see 1st picture), from there click on the slope and choose if you want to use skies or snowboard.
If you want to go to the easy slopes click on the slope and choose if you want to use skies, snowboard or the sled (see 2nd picture).
