can't change sim wedding roles (wedding stories)

i play on PC with cc and mods. I recently installed the my wedding stories dlc, and I have two engaged Sims. I asked a sim to be the flower gal, and she said yes, but later on I decided I wanted to change who would be the flower gal. I couldn't find an option to ask her to be a different role or ask her to back down, and i went to plan the wedding and it would only let me choose her as the flower gal. So, I reset my Sims relationship completely (the two engaged Sims), I cleared marriages, made them household members only, removed all sentiments, reset their friendship and romance bar, then had one sim propose to the other again. I went back to the sim that I no longer wanted to be the flower gal, announced the engagement, but it gave me no options to ask her to be a different role, and it didn't give me those options for the Sims that I asked to be the officiant and the ring bearer. I went to plan the wedding again, and it still only showed the Sims that I had previously asked to fulfill certain roles. Any way to fix this?

    I'm currently still having the same issue I want to make the person currently asked to be the flower girl, to instead be my sim of honor and the option is not there.

    Similarly to you I added them to my family remove them tried to clear all things I could and it still didn't rectify the issue. 

    Has anyone been able to come up with a resolution?

    @Lovely36008 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. If it happens vanilla, I'll move you over to a different forum.

    I have no mods I have downloaded all the DLC through EA originally it was origin now it goes through my EA play thing nothing has changed in the files I got the DLC  like a month ago everything else in the DLC works I've seen a lot of posts on Reddit and everyone in those common threads have mods so I was unable to find an answer for my problem but it sounded like the original poster here was having the exact issue I was but I wasn't sure whether they had mods or not
