I am no longer able to dig up or collect collectables including frogs and plants. I get a red circle with a line through it when I try to click on them. My sim is not too far away, there is nothing blocking access, and it's not just with one sim but with all Sims. I do not have or use any Mods nor CC. I have cleared cache, restarted game, repaired game, and started new save files, but nothing has helped.
Is it happening in all zones or just in some of them? And do you have a residential rental lot in the zones where it is happening? What you describe is a known issue caused by having a residential rental in a zone. Here is the main bug thread for the issue.
