Can't edit in CAS...

I started having issues last year where I'm no longer able to edit Sims with and without mods. My game will open, but it won't let me click on anything or edit Sims in CAS. I've gotten a new laptop, deleted all custom mods and tried redownloading my Sims files but I'm still having an issue a year later.
