Also on that same Home Page, look to see if your last played family is depicted in the center of the screen. If not, then look at your documents>Electronic Arts> The Sims 4 folder, after you quit the EA App. Take a look to see if your saves folder is there, where it should be. Best of luck!

After the recent update, it can be a bit tricky to find your saved file. To resolve this, start by launching the game and navigating to the main menu. Look for the 'Load Game' or 'Continue' option, which may now be under a different section like 'Game Files' or 'Settings.'. Ensure your saved file is in the correct folder that the game recognizes—sometimes updates shift default save locations. If you're still having trouble, try restarting the game or reinstalling to reset file paths. Hopefully, this clears things up!"
On the left hand side of the front page, there is an option to Load Game. Underneath this there other options to start a New Game, or go to the Gallery or do a Scenario. By pressing on Load game, then you can choose which save game you want to load.
