Can't Invite Over Director and Cast-mates

I saw that there was a bug where the "invite directors and castmates" function wasn't working, well I'm having this problem now. I already have the gig but I don't get any notification that they are coming/they won't show up. I don't know the director and castmates. This is my first time playing the actor career too so I'm not sure if this bug was ever fixed or not.

I'm having this issue as well recently. I invite the Director and Co-Stars and only the director shows up to the lot. Which isn't helpful when the pre-gig task is to develop the relationship with your co-stars specifically.
