Can't Resume Game

I've done nothing different to my game BUT everytime I go to LOAD GAME and click on a family it asks me to pick a season to play in and then goes to a screen that says to pick a world to play in and is just a white screen and says I have 0 simoleons.

Any ideas on why this is happening???
