Can't take down holiday decorations

I'm playing on a house that is owned by my sim family and I placed the decoration box and had them put up holiday decorations but when it's over I don't get the option to take them down only change them.

cc or mods removed
gameplay issue

    You might need to use Reset Custom Decorations if you chose the decorations individually.

    I did test it without mods and I still didn't get the option to take them down. I had to reset the decorations to get them down. At least I was able to get them down. Thank you for the help.
