Careers
I hope someone sees this. I thought it would be good to add Social Worker/ Therapist/ Psychiatrist type careers in the game. I know the game is evolving and mental health would be a good addition esp...
@meatbottomless89 , this is a fantastic idea!👍 While we have needed them for some time, we need them even more with the new wants and fears system, because those fears are really taxing on our Sims!😥 Therapy would be a wonderful help!😀
I know if your Sim is sad you can already call the Sadness Hotline, but we need something for anger and fear, and possibly other emotions!
Also, this would be a good example for those players who suffer from mental health issues in real life! 🤨🥰
Thanks! Yeah the new fears are sooo draining. You get rid of them and they come back lol. I love the challenge though!
I agree, there's already some support for this idea, here's a recent discussion thread about it with a few ideas being thrown around.

I think it would be a really popular one. Maybe my Therapist Sim could chat to me as I'm trying to fix my broken game lol. Yesterday Emily piped up at me and I called her a few names (sorry Emily)! I think all of our Sims are in need of a chill out. There are so many possibilities for a therapy career with skills and grounding techniques and possible moodlets. Instead of our Sims calming themselves down in a mirror there could be different things they could do with the new skill. So I hope this one gets picked up by the team.

There really should be a pack. I'm with @simsplayer818 on that.
(⭐:Presumably there will be a pack.)
@suzushka , there are already some traits that could be used to create a Sim that has characteristics of Neurodivergence, be that ASD or ADHD. 😀 Not to say that someone who is neurodivergent will have all of these traits, but here are some that could work, depending on what kind of neurodivergence you want your Sim to have. (Note that some of these will contradict themselves, such as Loner verses Outgoing, but that is why this is a spectrum , and with ADHD more likely to be outgoing, even if they are socially awkward. These will vary, depending on what packs you have for your game:
Loner
Geek
Perfectionist
Unflirty
Bookworm
Animal Enthusiast
Gloomy
Squeamish (many squeamish people are really just very sensitive to sensory stimuli)
Genius
Clumsy
Socially Awkward
Here are some more that are more geared to ADHD (since you specified an interest in Sims that have ADHD)
Outgoing
Goofball
Adventurous
Lazy (since we who have ADHD most likely have been called lazy all our lives, even though it really isn't laziness and is much more complex)
Childish
Creative
Dance Machine
I think the key is to look at existing traits and Aspirations (which I did not list, but your can see what sounds right for the Sims you want to make) and see what might fit in someone with ADHD or another type of Neurodivergence, and make a Sim with some of those characteristics. 🥳 There are enough characteristics that might fit that you could make a whole Neurodivergent family and they wouldn't necessarily have the same traits, which helps from keeping repetitive.😄 For example, you can make a Sims who has a Special Interest in Food/Cooking and give them the Foodie trait, and another whose Special Interest is Computers and give them the Geek trait, instead, or better yet, give them the Aspiration of Knowlege/Computer Whiz! Also, you can show off that Sim's special interest in Collecting with the Nature/Curator Aspiration!
As for Narcissism, you can make a Sim with the Self-Absorbed trait, and if you want to make them really narcissistic, add the Jealous and Mean traits! 😰
I do like the idea of a Monk career! 😊 However, I don't think they would actually title the career as a Buddhist Monk, even though the game has Eastern practices such as Meditation and Yoga. Perhaps they could just title the career as Monk (without the specific religious title) , or even Mentor, or Guru. 😉
