Chickens can't go into coop

I did a build on the empty lot in Henford-on-Begley, and added a chicken coop and animal sheds. After moving a sim in that was living on another lot that already had chickens, I noticed now on the new lot the chickens aren't able to go into the coop. They dont go in at night, and I tried getting my sim to call the chickens in, but still they just have those footsteps with a question mark above their heads. I tried enlarging the pen area, and adding a second coop, but they can't go into the second coop either. Im really scratching my head on this one.

    Hey there @Turtlgirl2002,

Are you using any mods/CC in your game? Have you also made sure there isn't anything obstructing the path for the chickens to get into the coop?

I'm not using any mods to the game. I am certian there are no obstructions. I even expanded the area, and added a second coop to see if they could go in that one. No luck. I bulldozed the lot, finally, and put a prebuilt house in, and tried chickens again, still nothing, but when I bulldozed the terrain, it finally worked. My terrain was flat to begin with, and I had even tried using the flatten terrian tool, but since it was already flat to begin with it didn't do anything. It finally worked after I bulldozed everything and started fresh, but changing the terrian. I think it had something to do with the fact that I changed grass to dirt in the animal pen.
