@cardiffgiant02 What I've noticed since the patch is that all unplayed sims are aging way faster than my own sims. It doesn't appear to be limited to just children.
I play on long lifespan, usually with aging off for unplayed sims. But when I allow aging for unplayed sims, those sims that were the same age as mine become elders even though mine are still YA or A.

Hmmm. What EuphorialQueen said makes sense, because my main Sim had 26 kids by the time her oldest kid died so if she stopped aging during all those pregnancies (14 pregnancies, as she mostly lucked out with twins lol) then it’s possible her oldest could become an elder before her. But what doesn’t make sense is that like I said I am watching a series on YouTube and her Sim is now an Elder, has 31 kids and her oldest is still an “Adult”. So perhaps it’s the new patch that Janyses mentioned because the series I’m watching I’m like way behind, I’m on episode 20 something and they’re on like episode 40 something I think so what I’m watching now happened a while ago, possibly before the patch.
still remains a mystery I guess lol
