It’s hard for me to say if the neighboring sims not related to my sim are aging faster because idk what life stage they’re at etc. They’re just random sims that already lived in the town or sims I imported from the gallery and to be honest I didn’t notice whether they were “adult” or “young adult” when I moved them into the neighbourhood, I just needed some new baby-daddy’s for my challenge! LOL
My original sim has now died (womp womp) so her youngest daughter has filled the baby-making shoes. I’ll try to pay better attention to how the others are aging around her to see if I can figure out if it’s the pregnancy that causes the children to die before their parent. In any event, I turned back the clock on all the “elder” children because it didn’t seem right that they should die before their mother and it doesn’t technically effect my challenge so, all good lol.
PS: sorry I missed all these replies! I didn’t get notified for some reason

I'm running into a similar issue with Baby Ariel. She has not aged at all. I aged her myself to young adult so I can marry her, but she's been stuck at day one of that age group ever since. I don't do challenges so mine is different in that way at least. She has a toddler and a baby, but she shouldn't still be on day one of young adult anymore. She's stuck. Everyone else ages up. Just not her.
I noticed that this first occurred in a old save, but thought little of it because I rarely played her, but now it's occurring again in my brand new save.- crinrict5 years agoHero+@simgirl542 Baby Ariel doesn't age. She's set to not age. Can you still age her up to the next level manually ?
