Child Sim Glitch Gaining Adult Skills

I know when a child sim completes their kids aspirations, they earn teen/adult skills in that area. For example, completing the Social Butterfly aspiration can get you a head start in the Charisma skill. I believe that’s how that works, correct me if I’m wrong.

I just started playing my new save recently, and he hasn’t even completed an aspiration yet. But now he has adult skills — quite a few! Like charisma and a few others I can’t remember. It’s the first day in my new save.

He also earned the Long Lived trait only adults can get, and he has a high reputation. I don’t believe he was doing a lot of talking to get that. It’s just him, no one else. I tried saving the game, exiting, then coming back. It didn’t work.

I’m on PlayStation 4 if that matters. Other console and PC players may be having the same problem though.

I hope this bug is fixed and he goes back to normal.

    Hi Niyiaa1​ 

    Kids can now get adult skills from start. That was changed a few patches ago.

    Do you know how it earned the trait ? Was it just there one day ?

    I have no idea how he earned it. He just started talking to another kid, and while I was playing someone else he started earning different traits. It was the first day.

    I looked it up and I see what you mean. I just don’t see how he got all that from talking. Especially the Bodybuilder reward trait😭

    The trait does sounds strange and maybe also how fast it all happened but kids can gain skills and reputation. 

    was the game an ingame born Sim or did you get him from the gallery ?
