[CLOSED] Blast From the Past: Study Historical Display not appearing

I'm trying to study a historical display at the museum for the event and no matter what I click all I get is view with Emits picture on it. I've tried all my museums. I even took out my mods and repa...

I was having similar trouble on my actual sim--the library option wasn't showing up, and while I was able to get the checkmark on the museum task, it was by "Viewing" an exhibit, not using the specific Emit-branded quest option. I was able to complete all the tasks by using a townie in my save file [Malcolm Landgraab]. Not sure if that'd work for you, but worth a shot.
