I'm having the same issue!! The only way I got it to work was at the willow Creek museum viewing the dog statue to the left of the knight, hope this helps!

Oddly specific. Worked for me. Thanks!

Really? Darn, this hasn't worked for me. I viewed two sculptures and an art piece and it never marked it off. I stayed so long my sim fell asleep and it hasn't worked yet.

I fully endorse this method: Queue actions after View, wait, SUCCESS! I stumbled into it by chance and it worked perfectly. (On a related note, the comments in this thread feel like a superstition being born.)

Placing the "On The Hunt Statuette" on "The Enduring" into my museum then viewing them completed the task and resolved the issue for me too. Thanks Trowicia for the tip!

Same issue here...no matter what I "Study" or "View" (with Emit's picture), it doesn't clear the task.
Update: I just read down the threads and before selecting "View", I shift "reset sim" and it worked this time. It wasn't the painting others used, too, so the reset seems to do something. FYI! - az1412711 months agoRising Traveler
I could not complete the task by “view” any object, but I tried this method and it worked! Thank you!😄

My Sim studied multiple displays after clicking on the interaction, but didn't get points. Also, no archive study option appears on any computer.

Thank you! Because this worked for me when nothing else did. Must be something to do with needing base game items.
