Please use this thread for issues with week 1 tasks. If you have issues with placing the stuffed friend near stuff, make sure to turn off moveObjects.

Is anybody else having a problem with the literally just released Forever Friends event? I have only just started it and I am stuck at the "Place stuffed animal near a toybox." No matter what toybox I place or stuffed animal I place it literally won't complete it.
Do I need to be using specific items?
I have restarted my game, started a new playthrough and repaired my game but nothing has changed.
Check to make sure that the toybox is facing a direction where it is free for a Sim to open it. (A Sim will not need to open it for this quest, but the toybox might not be recognized if it can't be opened.) When placing the toybox, the arrow should face a free tile, not a wall, etc. Do not place the stuffed toy on that free tile.
