Every time I open up a menu like the calendar, social bunny or to plan and event the menu is stuck on the screen. It lets me move the camera around behind the screen and there’s no way of exiting the menu other than going to manage worlds. This does work as a work around but it’s frustrating to have to keep going to manage worlds every time I look at the calendar
@emily54914 have you tried clicking on the actual toolbar icon for these features? Some of mine stick and I have to click on the icon to close them down again. So for example if I'm in the career or Aspirations panel it doesn't close unless I click it again to close it down.
Could you specify which console you are using please?
If you can't close them I'd take a look at the troubleshooting steps here and follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall the game content/packs.
If nothing helps, as you'll see from the console troubleshooting steps there is also a bug report in known console bugs attached if you'd like to take a look at it and see if this matches your issue and if so click Me Too on the first post then add a reply if you'd like to do so. You should be prompted with a bug template to complete.
I play on the PlayStation 5, it’s not so much the toolbars like the aspirations it’s mainly the calendar and the events menus. It fills the screen with a menu and usually you’d be able to come out of it or there’s a cross to exit it but there’s no way out. Moving the joystick also moved the camera in the background if that makes sense.
I had a look at known bugs and none seemed to fit it but if you think there are any that do then please point me in the right direction.
@emily54914If you click on the calendar icon (loaded up my game to test and find Calendar isn't one of the functions that allows you to click on the icon once open) circle button will that not close it down again?
I'd take a look at those troubleshooting steps for PS attached earlier and try reinstalling your content. Hopefully that will get it working correctly for you and let us know after that if it still doesn't work and it would be great if you could add an image of what you're seeing if you can. Sounds incredibly frustrating!
Edit: On Xbox we have a toggle button too so if we get stuck we can use that to close something down. Looking at the PS controller I believe it's the touch pad button.
