Created households not showing up on high school?

Product: The Sims 4 Platform:Steam-PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%) What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1030 ...

I downloaded the new High School Years pack, and I'm really loving it so far (minus the bugs), however I'm kind of confused why the teens from my other households I created are not showing up at the school. I'm also not sure if this is even considered a bug or if it's just how the game is. I was really hoping to be able to make my own teens that would act as NPCs in the high school ☹️ Does anyone know a way around this other than editing the pre-existing sims?

@novacanova I think if any teens was created, I think it should be prompt to ask automatically be considered being in high school if they want, I would think it’d ask like it did in the University expansion. At least be able to add whichever 30-50 students would be nice. I haven’t lagged much at all with 20 and my computer has okay specs.
