curtain bug

I saw the most recent thread was locked and says to start a new thread, so here I am.

Product: The Sims 4

PlatformPC

Which language are you playing the game in? English

How often does the bug occur? Often

What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Most of them

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Not sure if it will bug for you, but I have a window and a curtain that will not snap into place.

What happens when the bug occurs? Curtain will not click into place on the window. Either shifts to the side or to the outside. Have tried flipping the window, putting the curtain first, etc.

What do you expect to see? I expect the curtain fall into place.

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

No other windows are having the issue. Just the one window upstairs. Even the other window upstairs is not having the issue.

I'm glad you got the problem resolved.  Just FYI, For Rent added a new feature in build that might help when curtains are offset like you were experiencing.  If you press F5 while in build, it gives you the ability to adjust the location of objects on the wall and floor by a fifth of a tile, both up and down and side to side until you press it again so you can have the ability in live mode as well.  Keep in mind that there is an F5 command in live mode that does something else though.

And I have found that a lot of the time, I can get the curtain to place if I temporarily move or delete the window, place the curtain, then put the window back.  That really helps when the curtain insists on going on the outside rather than the inside of a window.

    Hope this helps.

Which window and curtain are causing the problem for you?  Just need the build/buy catalog names of both items.

    Hope this helps.

Eventually it fixed itself, but I had to use a different curtain entirely.
