Hi Everyone,
For a while now I've been having the issue that when my sims go to cook it takes longer for the action to register.
Yes I'm a cc/mod player but the attached video is base game and it's starting to get frustrating
Any help is much appreciated thank you xx
ToelessMouse Does it also occur without mods/cc ? Is this the only interaction you have this delay with ?
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post

I'll try and upload the video again when I'm on my PC next.
It's the latter, I'll select cook and after a few seconds the action then starts. I've tried different appliances but its all cooking appliances, other functions (sleep, hygiene, bladder) are all happening as soon as the menu disappears.

ToelessMouse seems your video didn't attach. Maybe it was too big.
There's a known issue with the menu taking a bit to show up. Is that what you mean or do they just stand around for awhile until they start cooking ?
