Hello everyone!
Is there a way I can completely erase relationships between my sims and random townies they met accidentally?
I once so this online, but it doesn't work: relationship.destroy <your sim id> <other sim id> .
Please kindly understand that I don't want to use mods 🙏🏾 so if there isn't a way, then I'll accept that 😊.

There isn't a way to make it as if your sim and the townie never met.
There used to be. The cheat you're trying to use still exists, but was disabled. You need a mod by TwistedMexi to enable the cheats.

I can't vouch for this, I don't use TwistedMexi mods (yet), I'm scared I'll do something that messes up my game. I usually just delete the offending townie or modify them in CAS so they're a better friend or romance option.

I have some additional info from our engineers on the rules our game uses for relationship culling:
1. The relationship will not decay if either the romance or friendship track goes above 20 or below -20. This means that relationships that have progressed beyond these points are safe (unless they then fall into this range).
2. Decay will not begin unless there has been no relationship progress in either direction for a day.
3. Certain relationship bits can prevent the relationship being culled anyways.
4. Even after decaying down to 0, the relationship will then still give an additional day before culling is done. If the relationship does move away from 0 in either direction, then the relationship will not be culled and the process will start all over.
