Disappearing tomato soup

I have been cooking tomato soup as I have simple living and off the grid active and this is one of the only recipes that actually works with this challenge, however it disappears from my fridge every time I leave my home lot or launch the game after closing. Does anyone know why or how to fix it?

    I've tested a few different ways, and the tomato soup doesn't disappear for me. A few things to check:

    1.  If you previously had a bowl of tomato soup in the fridge that your Sim had emptied, but not yet cleaned out, subsequent bowls will stack with it even though the thumbnail will show the empty bowl. Are you sure you don't have them stacked?
    2. Are you sure you are cooking & saving the family size bowl, or is it just a single bowl and once your Sim eats it it's gone? The tomato soup in particular might be confusing in this way, because a single serving actually requires more ingredients (onion and tomato) than the family size (just a tomato).
