Hi @MadameNordica,

This is by design. Adopt a Pet, Adopt a Child, and Pregnancy are the three possible success outcomes.

LOL I don't like it but I guess I don't have a choice but to accept it LOL I don't play with pets as it is because they are so incredibly unrealistic. I have yet to have a cat in real life that gets sick as much as my cats in game. Thanks for letting me know!

@MadameNordica if you go into the manage household settings and press the configure button (I'll attach an image to show you what it is), you can manage all the neighbourhood options and turn off the pet adoption option for households

  @Idiosyncratic53 THANK YOU I haven't really played around with them yet so it's good to know that's an option! I've considered deleting all the pets I can find from any family but ya know that's a lot of work LOL
