@sorcha2323 Downloading from the online Gallery doesn't always work as it's supposed to, even for people without the Legacy Edition: for some reason, the files aren't always properly downloaded. In theory, if you could find the files somewhere, you could place them in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 Legacy Edition\Tray, and they would be available for your game to load. Or you could have a friend download the content into their game, zip up the files, and send them to you; then you could download, unzip, and place the files in Tray.
In practice, most of the new (post-Legacy Edition patch) content may not work at all in your game. Too many features have been added, potentially breaking objects that you do have installed, and of course removing objects you don't have. I'm not sure the files would even load.
You could certainly try, but it's a good idea to make a backup copy of your user data folder first, or use a new folder to test. That way, if everything goes haywire, you can trash the folder that has the Gallery items in it and go back to your existing content with no harm done. The Sims 4 Legacy Edition folder in Documents\Electronic Arts can be removed or copied elsewhere and then restored; these folders and their contents are meant to be swapped back and forth.
Thanks so much for your help! I will give it a go
