DU engineer career motivators

Hi!

I just discovered you can craft different kind of motivators with robotics table when you have a Sim in engineer career. I crafted an energy motivator and it's description says it will give some energy for those near it.

The issue is, I'm not sure if it's working or how it's supposed to work. I placed it to the world and had my Sim stay near, but I didn't see any green arrows for energy... Is there something I have to do differently? It has red light on top of it, maybe I have to recharge it or something... But well, if anyone knows how the motivators work, please give me a hint! My Sim has four infants so some extra energy would be welcome 😆

    If I remember correctly, you need to activate it and it fuctions only once. The description is a bit misleading.

    Hmm... Do you remember how to activate it? If placed to world, the only interaction it gives is "put to inventory". So no clue how to activate it 🤷🏼‍♀️

    SanniSilliMmm... From the personal inventory I think, or directly from the pie menu (engineer) if you have it in your inventory. I remember the object exploded or something, but it was a long time ago.

    Yes, it was from the inventory. Thanks so much for your advice! 😊 I also discovered the red light was maybe hinting the motivator was faulty... My sim used it, it exploded and he fell down to sleep on the floor 😴🤣 Well, better luck next time...
