Duplicate items in build mode
When I have gone to move an item I have already placed in build mode, e.g. a shower or sofa, when I place it in the new spot, a duplicate of that item then pops up, ready to be placed. I then have to delete it.

That happens with a number of items. Not all by any means but some and can be really helpful at times. Garden planters and pots, kitchen counters and upper cabinets, for instance. Place one and then you can place several without ever having to click on it in the catalog for the rest. After you've placed all that you need, you just hit ESC (on PC) to clear the item so you can choose the next item to place. I find the feature very helpful for certain things. But as I said, the number of items that it happens with is limited.
I tested showers and sofas, and it does not happen for them in my game. If it is happening with everything in the catalog for you, then something is off. As @crinrict asked, are you using any mods that affect the catalog?
