Been told is allowed, Been told isnt allowed, Been told according privacy they will look into matter but not tell me anything, Been giving directions about "modding" can harm game?? Been offered support on purchasing games???? Yeah
And as can see in this thread still no word from EA themself. I have it in simscummunity too.. no answer... Asked direct to Gurus .. no answers but answering questions before4 and after mine in same personal page thread...

@MagiCornPrincess How can they not be more informed about their own TOU D:
I mean honestly, the TOU is very clear. I just think some people need it explicitly stated or else they will just continue to play dumb.

The Sims Team
Hey all,
The Sims 4 Mod Policy has been updated today which clarifies the following points:
Note, The Sims recognizes that creating Mods takes time and resources. To recoup these development costs, Mod developers may:- Offer an early access incentive for a reasonable amount of time. After a reasonable early access period, all users must be able to access the Mods in full for free regardless of whether they donate.
- Run passive advertisements and requests for donations so long as they are limited to the Mod website or distribution site, and do not appear within the Mod itself.

Can we get someone to confirm what a "reasonable amount of time" is? There are many creators that keep early access for up to a year and having clarification would help let us know who is going against the TOS and who isn't.
- 3 years ago@EA_Cade so nothing about the TOS actually changed ... Besides this time is no stated time that is considered reasonable solely left up to the creator to decide for themself. 5yrs could be reasonable to some lol
