I wanted to check if I can duplicate the issue on a Sim of yours. You said they are showing up as humans in CAS so it sounds like more of an issue than just the invisible wings.
But, If your game isn't broken, it will be normal and fine. No issues. I don't think you can duplicate the issue..
The ones I made, in Live mode, they still sparkle and float and can do fairy things, just no wings and then when I go into CAS it claims they're human.
Other townie fairies are the same. I see them sparkle and float in Live mode. I go into CAS with them, it claims they're human.
I find the human part really odd. The missing wings might be explainable by hardware or other things but them turning into humans .. not so much.
can you add some pics from CAS ?
Also:
You said you did clean out your folder. Does that mean you renamed the user folder and let the game create a new one and it still happened on a new save ?
Have you tried a new windows user yet ? Create one and start the game from there.
Yeeaahh...it is weird and I haven't heard any one else talk about it.
Bad example, but this photo was taken when I bought the Fairies pack. Soon as I went to play them in Live mode, no wings, it still shows fairy gameplay though.
I cleaned out my mods folder, loaded up a new save, created a random Sim to enter the world and no fairy wings.. I have a photo of a Sim I took when I did this. A random Fairy townie. See photo #2. The second photo was one with no mods/cc.
A new windows user?....Like starting from scratch? No, I haven't tried that and tbh, I rather not try that lol, I dont wanna mess things up and go through all that jazz.

I'm mostly curious about how they show in CAS afterwards. There's a known issue with wings not showing up at times (although it's not as reproducible as you are describing).
For the Windows user: No, you're not starting from scratch. It's just for testing. You can have multiple users on your computer, like if multiple people would use the computer. The game will stay installed and your current save and user is safe.
We can try this first though as it seems you haven't done that yet:
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.Yeah, I'm the only one I know and heard the issue of Fairies turning back into Humans.

I actually kinda did this before, but when i clicked repair game, it got stuck and wouldnt repair. Only had the option to cancel it trying to repair but it wont fully. I tried that when i first got the pack when it came out, i could try it again now and see what happens.
Currently, a non related issue, my game is broken since the new update with my mods and cc, can't play any house holds. Ot just takes me to the worlds screen. Ik this ones a mod issue cause i took them out and it worked fine. So I can't do anything on my window's main profile at this moment but once I find the mods that are broken which im close to doing, I'll try all the stuff you recommend. Though, it makes me nervous cause if I loose everything, i don't think I'll ever play this game again lol
Please check the mods forum for issues with mods.

Ah sorry, I mean where I can see their occult status. You might need to remove your CAS backgrounds.
This part
Currently, I can't take a photo cause I been fixing my game since the newest patch came out.. and tbh the photo would be kinda pointless, all it will show is that the Sim is Human and not an Occult.
I don't see any glitchy looking stuff on the traits and Sim type, for example, years ago I had "More traits in CAS" Mod and it glitched out and looked all buggy. Thats not happening currently cause I don't use that mod any more.
When I was messing with it when I first bought the pack, I created the fairies in CAS. When playing them, they had Fairy abilities. Then, say I go to CAS cause I forgot to add or change clothes, it shows the Human Symbol..
Even if I then click Fairy Occult choice and leave and then go back into CAS again, They're Human again, but it doesnt stay human, they have Fairy abilities, float and sparkle when I go back into Live Mode.
Did you get a chance to try the folder rename ?
I haven't but i also dont trust doing it because i dont wanna loose anything..i rather wait for a patch update or something
