When opening the vertical garden seeds nothing shows up in the inventory and the seed packet disappears. Regular seeds seem to work as normal. I have tried without mods, so it's not a mod issue. I have also tried a different family and a completely different save and the issue is still the same.

I gave this a test and they are working fine for me.
Did you disable or physically remove your mods as well as delete the localthumbcache file ?
Did you try without any other flowers/Fruit/Veggies in your inventory ? They didn't show as new for me.

I physically removed my mods, deleted the local thumb cache file and tried in a completely new save. Still does not work.
