Elder cannot potty train

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.154.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get together, city living, seasons, cats and dogs, get famous, island living, eco lifestyle, discover university, outdoor retreat, dine out, vampires, parenthood, realm of magic, tiny living, toddler stuff, laundry stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have a family with no adults, last one just aged up to elder. I do have 2 kids and 2 toddlers who just aged up from baby. The elder cannot potty train, the only option available when clicking on the potty is "put in inventory". The toddlers have no potty skill and the bladder need is not full. The toddlers also cannot ask for potty as the option is not active and says that an adult is needed for this.
What happens when the bug occurs? Toddlers have no option to get potty trained at all.
What do you expect to see? Elders being able to potty train.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    Thanks! It seems I managed to fix this. When clicking on the toddler the game offered “friendly introduction” even though it’s her daughter and the game recognises her as such... After the introduction the potty train and bath option popped back up along with a normal interaction menu. Had not tried to click on the toddlers before.

    @anntarkin Tested this with one of my elders. Option does appear for me.

    Which potty are you using. Have you tried multiple elders ?

    Made a new save with elder and a toddler and it did work. The elder I was talking about still does not have the option - tried all the potties, debug and reseting the game like 4 times, nothing.

    @anntarkin Could you put the elder in a fresh save and see if they can do it there ?

    DO other elders in the same save work ?

    Just tried, other elders in the same save file can potty train.

    I’m not completely sure how to make a fresh save with the elder. Tried the “save as” and made a duplicate save, still no potty train option for the original elder. 

    Also cleared the cache, still no change.

    @anntarkin Take the Sim to CAS and save to your library. Then start a new save and import the Sim from your library.

    Thanks! Tried it and in a new save potty training works :/ 

    It’s my 100 baby save of all saves and I really need these toddlers potty trained 🙈

    Evicted them and moved them back to the same lot, then to another one in the same neighbourhood, then to another neighbourhood. Still nothing 😫

    Also went to cas and tried changing her back to adult, still nothing so I guess this a sim-specific problem

    before she aged up to elder everything was fine though

    @anntarkin Did you also test if it's only that toddler that has issues with the elder or any toddler ?
