Enabling Script Mods Breaks my Game
Recently, I thought about trying out script mods for the first time, so I downloaded 4 to test them out. I put them in mods folder. However, when I went to the options menu and enabled "script mods", my game started having issues: when I enter my saves, the game is stuck in worlds select mode and won't let me enter any lot, plus the weird glitchy blue box and other stuff in the left corner of my screen (see images). At first I thought I downloaded a broken script mod so I removed all script mods from the mods folder, yet still, same problem remained. The problem only stopped after I turned off the "script mods" option in the settings of the game.
For the record, I do use cc (CAS and furniture), but I've never had issues with them and the game launches and works normally with them, this only happened when I enabled the script mods option, and goes away when I disable it. could the problem be in the cc, but they only break when script mods are enabled?
I really want to use script mods, does anyone know how to solve this or the cause of the problem?
I visited the Patreon page of the creator, and apparently they fixed the script problem and posted a newer version. I downloaded it and it works even with script mods enabled!
