Endless loading screen after downloading Royalty & Legacy

I installed the new update and the Royalty & Legacy expansion pack earlier today. I can load into the main menu, but I have an endless loading screen when I try to load into the actual game. This is without any mods. I have also tried "repairing" the game, uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried to load without Royalty & Legacy to see if that was causing the issue. None of these solutions worked.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ?
    • Any LastException/LastCrash files in your documents folder. Upload them to either google or oneDrive and post the link here.
    • Can you not load into any family or just a specific one ?
    • Can you load the lot in build mode ?
