Engineering Career Not available

I have the Discover University pack and until the most recent update I had no issues. Now suddenly the Engineering career isn't showing up in the list of job options. I have attempted to repair the game and that didn't do anything. I have no mods or additional content outside of the game packs.

gameplay issue

    Check to see if either of the branch careers appears. Computer Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.

    I have the same problem and neither branch shows up either, even for sims with degrees that should apply to either branch. I am a ps5 console player

    Neither did. I guess it was a bug or something because I started another new family and the Engineering Career was available in that game.
