Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Close the game again
- Copy JUST your save game from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
- Start your save
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
What mods did you repair that helped? I'm having the same exact problem and can't solve it either.
- @jambulous Which issue do you have ? Endless loading or the 111 error ?
If you have 111, please refer to one of my posts on page 1 on how to solve that. I'm having the same issue as well but even when I remove all my mods its still there, I've uninstalled the game and have been repairing it almost nonstop since yesterday, I even went in and removed every plate I found and it still keeps giving me the same error code and won't let me play with the family, I tried moving them to an empty lot and the error code was still there. I can't even get into the game now to try and fix it since the loading screen never stops
