Game crashes whenever I save

Ever since the may patch I've been having issues with my game completely freezing and crashing whenever I manually save it.

For a while I thought I had a workaround, for example if I'd click on manage worlds, then just go to manage worlds without saving, it would force the game to auto save.. but now it will crash regardless and it's impossible to play the game without losing progress.

I've tried deleting my save data, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game, deleting old save files, saving my game onto a new save file, nothing seems to fix it. 

I am a console player, xbox specifically, and I own all dlcs and about half the maker packs.
