aitchdawg Are you getting exactly the same error (game failed to load, 117:6b866), or a different error (and what does it say), or no error at all?
I don't recognize the issue in your lastexception, but it looks like the game is trying and failing to have something delivered to your active household. So please play a different household for a few sim-hours, if you can, then see whether you can load your main household again. You can use Load Game to select the other household.
The issues with the sims' skin and the whiteboard are known bugs. You can post in the master threads if you want to add anything:
