aitchdawg Does it help to move the household to a different lot? If you saved after switching households, go back to a previous save:

Please also try loading the lot in build mode and let me know whether it works.
If you can't load the household on a different lot, try splitting up the (adult) sims to see whether you can load any of them separately. You don't need to save your progress.
puzzlezaddict thank you, that worked! Couldn't load on a different lot, split up the adults which worked for one and not the other, so then I split that adult out from the new twins and that fixed it. The family is now reunited on a new lot and working fine, and the original lot loads too.
