Yes but I can't say for sure it will work for you as I've seen others have the same problem but different solutions.
Firstly, I loaded into a different household, save as, then load into my household with the new save but after a day or two I got the error again. (Trying this the very first time also didn't work, I just kept trying until it did)
Secondly, I took out wicked and wonderful whims (these were the mods broken in my folder), deleted localthumbcache and now my game works.
I could be wrong but I believe the main problem for me was an item on my sim and/or in their home was broken or didn't load correctly causing the problem to begin with.
