Bit unsure what help to provide then.
There could have been some lag. Did you quit before the changes stopped or did they change on their own eventually ?
the relationship changed without me being in another game mode or pausing, then I tried to stop by pausing but without success, the same for the construction mode or saving. so I ended up cutting the game and coming back, and there they were finally face to face and a non-moving relationship
If it doesn't happen again it's hard to know what caused it. Is this the same family that has the high school issue ?
