I tried hosting a dinner party in my game. I got a pop up an hour before the event would start, but it never actually did. Sims that i invited didn’t come, and the actual event didn’t even start at set time. I don’t have any mods in my game.
is it just the dinner party or all events ? Did you plan it on your home lot or another ?

nope, they don’t work. And skill day also didn’t show up
could you start a new save for testing purposes to see if the same issue occurs. This is to find out if it's save related or a general issue.
